I am pretty sick of all things wedding as well…my Maid/Matron of Honor is getting married this summer, we have our wedding, and then we are going to 6 other weddings! It’s everywhere!

However, get going on the planning! You will only get more stressed out as time gets closer!

Our wedding is in august. I have a dress (though it is curently in pieces) and a notebook full of addresses… thats about it… don’t worry, everything will be fine. but I agree, there is no use putting it off until the last minuet

Have you tried pinterest to get the ideas flowing. You should prob start asap if you haven;t already done so!

I have a dress, photog and minister.


I NEED to get a venue but Fiance stap dad wont hurryTF up and ask for a change at the venue we want. If we can’t get it it changes everything so I can’t plan a frigging thing. He was supposed to ask this weekend, so Sunday night I had Fiance text him and he replied, “yeah, I just have to get hold of XX and see if they can do the switch”…uhm okay…THEN DO IT. I’m dying here.


Wasn’t bothered before but starting to feel it now. 125 guests, about 30 from Ireland with flights already booked. Yay 🙁

I have the venue, church, dress and photographer booked. But it’s all the little things stressing me out! I spend far too long on pinterest, pinning ideas for stuff I know I won’t do!

Just write a list of stuff you need to do, in order of priority and start working your way through them. I always like to get a couple of easy ones done first, anything that could be done over the  phone. Gives me some ticks to keep me motivated!

I have the venue, photographer, caterer, and videographer.

I have a friend of the family who is a florist, but he’s been Out of Town for almost 8 months, and that makes me nervous to think he won’t be back in time to help me out. 🙁


I still havent picked the dress, although I have one on hand that can be shipped in 10 days.

I kind of feel the same way…the more I think about planning the more overwhelmed I feel. I do have the big stuffed planned though, venue, caterer, decorator, church, my dress, BM’s dresses, photographer, the bakery but I don’t know what cake design yet. I don’t have a final menu or a final guest list…haven’t even taken engagment pictures and that was what I was wanting to use for invitations.

We’ve got the venue, all music for ceremony/reception, photographer, we are booking our officiant, meeting with an uplighting person soon, cake is under control, dress picked out (still need accessories), groomsman attire is done, we are in the process of booking our florist and hmm…I think that’s pretty much it as our venue comes with catering.

Now it’s the small stuff like hair/makeup/accessories, etc. It’s the small stuff that can get overwhelming, especially when some of the smaller things (OOT bags/favors) can’t be done until much closer to the wedding.

After our tasting on May 14th we’re going to order our invites!

I have almost everything done, dress, Justice of the Peace, venue, invites ordered, caterer called, cake ordered, DJ and photog booked!
