Has anyone ever added a halo to existing ring?

Several Bees have done it! It depends on the type of head you have on your existing ring. Peg head I believe it’s called can be removed, and a halo added.

But if the head (the part your stone sits in), is integrated into the ring, you’d need a new setting.

Can you post a pic of your ring?

Also, don’t do it if the only reason is because someone said your ring is simple. Simplicity is the essence of elegance. It may have been a compliment!

appleblossom217 :  I am in the same boat as you.  Someone called my ring simple.  I too wonder what a halo would do for my ring some days.  I saw peg head halos in the jewely store but I have never seen a finshed product.  That is what the add on ones typically look like:

appleblossom217 :  I think your ring is gorgeous don’t let it get to you too much if that’s what you like.  I designed a ring with a halo because I wanted one. So make sure you’re adding it for you too.

appleblossom217 :  y

Your ring is great but I still totally underatand the want to maybe halo.  In my process of thinking to halo or not halo, i thought about these things… would the halo diamond stones match my diamond color…would a Halo sit high enough for a wedding band to sit flush.. i even bought a fake halo ring at kohls to see if I loved a halo..I feel your pain..  Thats my real ring and my $15 kohls halo.

Your current ring is essentially my dream ring. I LOVE princess solitaires and I specifically told my SO I didnt want a halo because I like the simplistic look
