    Can’t say that I have. Are you considering it? Or your spouse? What’s the context of your question?

    Haha without some clue as to why you’re asking, I think a lot of lips are going to be sealed around here Wink

    @iarebridezilla:  Word!

    Haha, I’ve never said “word” in my life, but it seemed appropriate here.

    I have before being with my SO. I would never do one with my current SO. I think I would punch a b*&tch if anyone touched him. haha. I’ve had friends do it with long term relationships and 100% of the time it causes jealousy. I would stay away, but that’s just my advice.

    I voted yes, but it was more of a one night stand type thing. I don’t think I see myself being able to do that with my SO… I’m not good at sharing my man ;-P

    OP, not to be a debbie downer but it’s a bold statement to make “knowing” it won’t change your relationship.  Personally, the ONLY way I would even consider having a threesome is if I was the guest star (not the one in the relationship).  I would never do it in my own relationship.  I’ve heard WAY too many horror stories about how the guy develops feelings for/can’t stop fantasizing about the other woman/jealousy for the woman/or they just plain break up in the end.  All I’m saying is you have to be prepared for SOME kind of change in the relationship, not necessarily a terrible one but there will be some sort of readjusting.  It seems unrealistic to think otherwise.

    I hate when bees get preachy in the intimacy forum.

    I have been, but I wasn’t the one in the relationship so it didn’t ‘ruin’ anything for me. I enjoyed it, I didn’t have any emotional involvement though the guy was a friend.  It wasn’t weird for us after, and I know I wasn’t their “first” so I assume it wasn’t weird for them either?? I don’tknow!

    Yeah. Not with my Darling Husband with an ex I dated previous to the event and a girl who had a crush on both of us. It was okay but I don’t think I could do it in a relationship.

    Fiance and I have discussed this before (kind of).  Before we were engaged or even seriously dating, we talked about boundaries.  Monogamy came up; we decided that our relationship would have to be monogamous because 1. we care about each other more deeply than we’ve ever cared about anyone else, so we don’t want to chance screwing anything up and 2. we both have moments where we can be very jealous people.

    We know a threesome would work just the same as dating around for us personally.

    I say if a threesome works for you and your partner, go for it!  I have friends who dated around and had threesomes and orgies and are perfectly happy…  It just wouldn’t work for me and my fiance.
