Windborn :  Good to hear it went smoothly. I agree that the waiting is the hardest part. Hopefully the results will come through soon and if there are any issues they will be dealt with promptly but fingers crossed that all is well! Keep us updated.

I had a fairly large irregular shaped mole removed from my back. I needed 7 stitches. Didn’t hurt at all, and the biopsy came back as clear. Better to be safe than sorry though!

Windborn :  Fantastic news! What a relief. Treat yourself to a bubble bath, glass of wine or whatever turns your crank!

Do keep an eye out though for any freckle or mole that changes colour or shape, dry skin spots that bleed etc. Educate yourself for what to look for. Wear sunscreen and take precautions. Get regularly checked just to be sure. I am so glad that it all turned out OK.

I am so glad it was benign! Odds are that it would be, but one never knows, so good for you for having it checked. I was a little late on the draw, but while ckin cancer does not run in my family, I have LOTS of moles and have had biopsies more than once. Normally they aren’t a big deal and don’t hurt much. Yay for you having it checked out and it being all good!
