I am trying to save money on flowers at my Cabo wedding. (I know they’re really expensive in Mexico) so I am going to try to make my own bouquet of aqua and lime green feathers! Has anyone attempted this?!?
I have watched You Tube videos on hand rolled floral bouquets, I’ve bought the feathers on ebay and I’m searching for the right ribbons…and then I’m going to take a crack at it, I guess! If you’ve done it or know someone who has, let me know please!

Me TOO! I’m going to try to make my own too, of course not for a few more months since I have till August and tend to change my mind often…lol. Any who, good luck and feel free to post your experience and some pics!

I had a ton of feathers in my floral bouquet and I would just caution you to avoid it if there is any chance it will rain on your wedding day. It rained on mine and once my bouqet got damp, the feathers clumped together and looked kind of terrible.

Ooooo…sounds gorgeous. No, never made one though, sorry. Are you including some flowers with feathers? Or just all feathers?

Eplume is fabulous!
I have about 20 long ivory ostrich feathers in my possession and I think I can make them into a poufy bouquet with no problems. I am going to scout ribbon this weekend.
I also have about 12 turquoise and emerald green fathers which are shorter and will match my sister’s dress perfectly. Again, I’m scouting ribbon.
I’ll let you know as soon as I get something together! I’m excited already though!

I just completed mine. I used all feathers in a bouquet holder (the kind you use to put the ostrich feathers in the eifel tower vases)…. I really like it. It is very quirky and huge.
My fi said it looks like a huge mardi gras mask lol!
