I am planning to use glass bangels (of the more irredescent type) and glue them together one on top of the other with maybe a fancier one at the bottom and another fancier one to line the top and plain colored ones in the middle and then put a candle in it to make a DIY candle holder. Has anyone seen this idea done before. I just thought that since these bangles are super cheap and come in every color under the sun they would be good for a DIY and this is the only one I could think of and I don’t think I have ever seen it done before. Does anyone else have any ideas about what I could do with these?

I haven’t seen it done, but it sounds like a great idea! I think they’ll be easy and look good

That would be beatiful!!! The candle glow would be gorgeous through the bangle!!
The only other thing I could think of is tying them together and making a windchime or glue them into a ball and hang them? I’ll have to think about this for a bit…I’m sure theres plent of stuff to do!
Definatly keep us updated on this!! 🙂

I might look into wiring them together instead of glue. I am sure you could find a safe one, but I would fear it would seep through or look splotchy. Given the uneven texture, you would need something heavy duty. I would try to find a thin craft wire and see if you could wire them together as if you were weaving.
I would love to see this done if you do it; I bet it will look gorgeous!

These are tea light or votive holders
you can use broken bangles for many crafts including these tins- perhaps for favors?

@julies1949: Those tea lite holder do almost look like they were made of timy bangels. Very cute.
