No one has ever figured out who I am on here and I’m not that careful. I’ve never used FH’s name, only my first name, and I’ve made posts with pretty specific issues. I only knew one person IRL who used the Bee, and she’s not on the website anymore.

@MsGinkgo:  I used my name as my username (like I always do), so I clearly don’t care. lol

If you put identifying information on here, including profile pictures and name , it is very possible.  Post accordingly.  And if you post photos of others without their permission, that is breach of their privacy, IMO.

That’s actually the reason I switched my profile picture today. But I don’t think anyone I know is on here… because no one I really know if planning a wedding!

I’d say I am pretty careful. Anything that I need to ask that I am afraid has identifying info in it (or I really would hate for a particular person to see), I be sure to post anonymously. I just don’t want friends/family ruining this great anonymous outlet for me 🙂 And this username of mine is very random, so I have a hard time thinking someone could figure it out anyways. I even keep it secret that I look at this website (FI knows, and possibly my roommate).

No, not YET. I have several friends who are recently engaged or about to become engaged and I am sure they will find their way here and find me in the process, seeing as how I have photos of myself, my ring, my wedding, my hubby etc. I rarely post about personal issues on WB, most of my posts (and responses) are wedding related topics so I really don’t care anyway. I have nothing to hide (from them anyway hehehe)

No one I know has ever really heard of this website so I guess I’m safe, but I have never posted anything offensive or too personal so I’m not too worried.
