I used little jars from this place. They arrived quickly, all in one piece, great quality. What you see is what you get, no complaints here! There were even a few extra lids in case any cracked in shipping I guess (we got the white plastic lids).

ETA – I couldn’t find a good Canadian source, so I had them shipped to my aunt in Kansas and a relative who was visiting her picked them up and brought them back for us. If you’re close to the border, there are tons of shipping places you can get stuff sent to for like $6, waaaaaay cheaper than paying the cross border brokerage fees!!!

@Ryansgirl: Omg. Hang on. I have someone you should talk to. He makes the BEST honey. My ex and his wife got Darling Husband and I hooked on it. It’s honey crack I swear. If you’re in Ontario, you should ask if he could make little jars for you and you can pick them up when you’re here!

@Ryansgirl: Ask if he could ship to you (and how much it would cost), OR if he knows of a local bee keeper (local to you) that he could recommend. It looks like he sells supplies, so I imagine he might now a lot of fellow bee keepers. If you did buy it from him, the problem would be that it would have to be checked, not carry on because it’s liquid. So you’d have to make sure it was packaged really well with HUGE fragile stickers all over it.

@Ryansgirl: My ex’s wife’s dad (wow that’s a chain there) goes to the pub with him now, which is SO cute. I don’t know if it was my ex or his wife that discovered this guy and his little roadside honesty box for his honey, but they tried it, loved it, and bought us some. Now Darling Husband and I are hooked. I guess my ex and his wife (and her parents?) have met the honeyman at some point and now her dad and the honey guy hang out! So cute! That reminds me, I’m running low. I must make the trip out there soon…

bakerella:  Hi there, do you have this contact still?  I’m actually looking to give away honey jars as well and I’m in Ontario.
