Ive seen a few people with them on and they look fantastic. I plan on getting them put on for our E pics/trip to boston and right before the wedding so hopefully they’ll last through the honeymoon.
I’d just like some feed back or pics on your experience with them. A few nail salons/salons do them out here in LA from $25-$90.

@ReyDar64: totally considering doing this for my wedding/honeymoon! excited to see posts

Sister inlaw has gotten them for $25 and another place that has rave reviews on Yelp does them for $250!!! WTF!? I wonder what the difference is… method? product?
My cousin had them for her wedding and honeymoon and was in love w/ them b/c she says she was always camera ready and didnt have to worry about make up for the pool, beach or excursions.

I had them done at a hen party my friend had in her house. They were great, but I’d advise getting a trial beforehand because, and I know this sounds stupid, but they fel really really heavy the first day or so. I had individual and I think next time I will actually go for the standard as they were more natural looking

@Cariad: What is standard? I would think the individually placed lashes would look more natural.

I got them for my wedding in Mexico. They were the individual ones that they glue directly onto your own lashes and they cost me $50. They were really natural looking and long, but only lasted about 2 weeks. I have a pic if anyone wants to see.

I was given them as a bridal shower present from SIL. They were retailed at $250. Although they looked fantastic (especially in pictures) I would never get them again. It took about 2 hours for each individual last to be glue on.
They have to tap down your bottom lashes which was horrible and I thought my contacts were going to pop out. You also cant rub your eyes and its hard to wash makeup off.
Mine lasted about a 6 weeks or so. But towards the end it got frustrating because there were a few stubborn fake lashes that wouldnt come off and it looked silly compared to my real lashes.
Finally, I lost a lot of my real lashes. They were stubby and took several months to get back to normal. So, while they look amazing, I really wouldnt recommend them. Just get fake ones the day of your wedding. 🙂

Do you mean those eyelash extensions? That’s what I had for my e-pics. I had a Groupon to get them done. It took 1.5 hours at a salon. They were awesome while they lasted and really made my eyes *pop*. But they started falling out within a few days and were completely gone 3 weeks later. It was a little odd towards the end because the side that I sleep on lost more lashes faster than the other side. So that was a bit funny looking.
If they weren’t so expensive then I’d get them again for the wedding/honeymoon, because they really stood out in pics and I loved looked bright-eyed when I woke up without any makeup on. Just wish they lasted longer.

@StaceyMay81: I’d like to see!!
I’m thinking about getting these for my wedding. I hate the feeling of falsies, so I’d prefer not to have to wear them.

I’ve had them done (as a model for a friend that was learning how to do them professionally). I didn’t think it was worth it (compared to fake lashes). It takes forever and the grow out is funky. In 3 weeks, you have these half lashes and it really hurt when I was taking them out. I’d never do it again.
On the wedding day did fake lashes my MUA applied – I loved them!
The price you quoted is a steal! Could you do a trial now, to see if you like the experience? That’s what I’d do.

When I first started reading these posts I got all excited thinking…hmmmm maybe people are having really good experiences with them and I should try it! But, what I’ve heard is more inline with what the later posts say…my friend had them and they were a mess when growing out. Also, she said they would get all tweaked when she slept!? She also lost some real lashes in the whole process so that was the deal breaker for me.

I had them for my sister’s wedding. They looked great for the first few days, then they started twisting and it hurt like hell. I ended up pulling out most of my eyelashes to stop the pain, which looked ridiculous. My mother also had it done and she managed to resist pulling them out, but she also said it scratched and looked weird when the lashes started falling out naturally.
