I picked the soundtrack to pride and prejudice for our dinner music!  Go with what you want.  No one will really notice – unless it’s verrrry upbeat, dance style music.  lol.  Good luck!

I made cocktail and dinner music one genre. We chose Mototown. We both love it and something about Motown just sounds so fun, timeless 🙂

I am planning a Frank/Louis/Piaf/Martin cocktail hour with a pianist and singer. Dinner will be jazz/swing/ played by a mini big band. Dancing later in the night will be the club music with a DJ.

I am doing the same type of music as you for dinner with some slow love songs as well. I am actually thinking of doing some lighter alternative music for cocktail hour. The majority of my guests are all in their 20’s like me and my Fiance and I want to keep a young feel to it.
