(Closed) Has anyone had surgery for hyperhydrosis?

@AndysCraftsNmore:  I’ve only heard of one person having this, but she got botox injections and I think that worked for her (not sure for how long).  It does sound insanely painful to get injections in the armpit though.

I had thyroid surgery for a different problem…… I had normal hormone levels, but my thyroid was growing “nodules” which from family history can turn cancerous and wrap around your throat and be non-cancerous (has gone both ways).

I had a 20% chance of cancer and I choose to get the questionable half out. Until my hormone level got low, I didn’t feel different (just sore). Once the hormones got low enough, I started snythroid.

Overall it was a good decison to take care of it before it became a problem.
