Blueghostgirl:  100%. I tried on a mermaid dress that I had on for maybe 2 minutes. I never looked at another mermaid lol. Couldn’t stand the time it took to lace OR all of the crinoline (sp?) underneath it. *cringe*

Saw the title and totally thought of Carrie trying on wedding dresses in Sex and the City.

Blueghostgirl:  I did! Just for kicks I put a ballgown on, and felt like I was consumed in fabric. I immediately got hot and started to feel tangled and my Boyfriend or Best Friend had to literally rip it off of me..haha.

Totally did. I tried on a dress that looked wonderful on a hanger and then I looked at myself in the mirror and I could see was all my imperfections, material was stiff and scratchy and I couldn’t breathe.

YES! Ugh worst feeling. I tried on a dress that had really stiff boning (I think that’s what it was) – and they clipped me in SO tight I literally felt like I couldn’t breathe and started panicking lmao.

Almost every dress I’ve tried on. I don’t like all over lace and that’s pretty much all the stores have

But, the worst was at this store that I didn’t know was an outlet. I was trying on size 6’s because thats what I have been trying on in bridal. The store was so hot and every dress was extremely tight for some reason. I immediately got a migraine and when she asked if I wanted to get back into a dress that I kind of liked my reponse was “HELL NO!!!” I wasn’t trying to be rude but I thought I was going to pass out in there.

Oh lord yes. It was this illusion lace and mesh nightmare– I thought the mesh was pink and wanted to try it on, but it turns out it’s supposed to be skin-toned and make the lace look like it’s floating over your arms and chest. Not a cute look, but I went out and showed everyone for laughs anyways. My grandma told me I looked like a tree.

Yes! I have had that feeling twice and it was the first place I went to look at dresses with my mom which was David’s Bridal..but to be fair, there were two I quite liked from them as well.  The funny thing is I got left standing/stranded in both of them while the sales associate went to go pull more dresses and my mom decided to photograph it.

I felt like I was wearing poinsettias in the first one and the bottom was a mess. For the second one…I couldn’t decide if I should go to prom or be leading my horse through a meadow of flowers for a perfume ad.

Blueghostgirl:  I tried on a heavy, satin, mermaid gown with a corset back. I want to say it weight ten-fifteen pounds and was so. Freakin. Tight. that I could not breath in it. Roughly fifteen seconds after I was corseted up I started to feel panicky. I get majorly claustrophobic and I felt so restricted in that dress. I made the sales lady pull it off of me right in the middle of the store in front of my mother and sisters. After that, we opted to rule out all mermaid, satin, and corseted gowns.
