She asked that I supply the ribbon for the cake detailing so that it matches. Where on earth do I get this? I can’t find any that perfectly matches my colors first of all. I actually have a ton of ribbon from BB&B presents that goes nicely but it’s not in one long strand. I’m out of places to look.

You can find it in any craft store (Michael’s, JoAnn’s,AC Moore) or buy it online. I got mine on Ebay, and yes, I provided it to the baker. It doesn’t even have to be an exact match anyway…what color do you need and what width? Did they tell you how much?

They make you provide it so that they know it’s precisely what you want. Go to a craft store or the internet, like PP said!

@whitandrior: We are going to have to provide our own as well.
What are your colors? If you are using David’s colors then you can buy the ribbon from them. Other companies will also allow you to buy ribbon and raw materials from them.

I did not have ribbon on my cake… However, I did provide my baker with several strips of patterned ribbon so that she knew the exact colors we were using

@Mrs.Darling: Interesting… my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses are David’s so I’ll look there.
Our color is a deep purple but it’s hard to match.
