(Closed) Has anyone had to provide their own ribbon to the bakery for the cake?

You can find it in any craft store (Michael’s, JoAnn’s,AC Moore) or buy it online. I got mine on Ebay, and yes, I provided it to the baker. It doesn’t even have to be an exact match anyway…what color do you need and what width? Did they tell you how much?

They make you provide it so that they know it’s precisely what you want. Go to a craft store or the internet, like PP said!

@whitandrior:  We are going to have to provide our own as well.

 

What are your colors? If you are using David’s colors then you can buy the ribbon from them. Other companies will also allow you to buy ribbon and raw materials from them.

We provided the ribbon and broach for our cake.. I got the ribbon at Michaels and the broach and letter off of ebay…

I did not have ribbon on my cake… However, I did provide my baker with several strips of patterned ribbon so that she knew the exact colors we were using
