@senoritaroll: i normally only wear tinted moisturizer but I was extremely impressed w/ my MUA.  I purposely looked for a MUA who worked w/ AA.   She really turned me into a “Super Model” from Plain Jane.   So, its all about the MUA.  I had airbrush for my trial and then went to a Prince concert that night.  I sweated and I still looked great @ midnight.  Just had to re-apply lipstick.  For my wedding, I did have her add more blush and play up my eyes.  Waiting for my pro pics but everyone commented on how beautiful I looked.

Definately try someone else because it sounds like the person. I had airbrush on for the wedding and I didn’t feel it at all and it lasted the entire day from 8am to 12am.

Here is a picture from around 1pm

And one right at the end of the night

Just so you know, I am someone who ALWAYS has red cheeks and splotches 😉

I had the same experience as senoritaroll and bebepituca. Two trials both using airbrush makeup (one with MAC and one with Kette foundation) and both times I looked like I obviously had a makeup mask sitting on my skin, I looked greasy — way worse than with my everyday Bare Escentuals Matte makeup — and it wore off really quickly. I’m almost $400 poorer and getting really worried about makeup for my wedding. Both times I was embarrassed for anyone to see me after the trial, especially my fiancee. NOT the way I want to feel on my wedding day! I’m less than a month away now and getting super worried …

I have combination sensitive acne prone skin and a very oily T-zone. I’m not positive if silicon-based foundations were used in my trials. At both I stressed my concerns about oiliness.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a specific foundation that would work well for me?

Recommendations for other foundations that would be good to try without airbrush would be great, too.

I think I look better in my everyday bare escentuals makeup but I’m not too confident about using it on my wedding day. I guess I thought if these makeup artists are charging the greater part of $1000 for their services, they would make me look fantastic, but I was really more horrified at the results.

Any help is appreciated!! Thanks.
