I also got this from a cat once. Had it on my arm for about three weeks before I decided to see a doctor. I had never heard of ringworm before and thought it was an odd bugbite that wasn’t healing. With antifungal cream it went away in a week. My husband (then BF) with whom I shared a bed never got it. I remember other friends touching it out of curiosity before it was it was diagnosed (the joke was that aliens had kidnapped and branded me) and none of them got it either. I think some people are just more sensitive to it than others.

Ask your doctor for diflucan! It’s one pill that should take care of it.

Ugh i had this once, and go figure…it was from a stray cat. I had little rings ALL over my body and I was so embarassed! Like seriously, even though it’s only a fungus it’s really embarassing to explain to somebody that you have ‘-worm’ anything…even if it’s not a worm!
I feel your pain! Mine slowly went away after getting cream from the dr. I was younger though so I don’t know all the technicals on working in a public place. good luck!

I got it when I was young. The doctors actually had me use athlete’s foot cream for it (I think) instead of the OTC ringworm stuff.
