I lost mine! I took it off to put on hand lotion and did not remember to put it back on. It is in my house somewhere, and I have 5 pets. I have looked everywhere!

That hasn’t happened to me thankfully, but I definitely have insurance.  You never know what can happen!

Thankfully, no. But I lost my watch last week and am sick about it. It was not terribly expensive but since my guy gave it to me it is sentimental. And I love that watch. I’m so sad and can’t imagine losing an e-ring.

No, thank goodness.  My Fiance insured my ring the day he received it.  Also, I take my ring off whenever I am home.  I only wear it when I leave the house.  I don’t want to risk losing it down the drain or something.

No, I pretty much keep them on at all times. My mother told me that when she got me my class ring – basically, “I’ll buy this for you, but never take it off so you don’t lose it”. Kept it on and never lost it! Took it off for college and who knows where it got to.  I just keep my rings on unless i’m stuffing a turkey or cleaning out the drain or something too physical. then i put them back in the box, or in this little orange tea light dish that seems to just hold rings in my kitchen. Ours have been insured since the day they arrived, so that’s not the issue. I’d just be devastated to lose them!

AHHHHHHHHHHHH! I would literally have a heart attack if I lost my e-ring even though it’s insured! Cry It’s just not the same to have it replaced you know? I only wear mine outside of the house. Once I’m home, it goes back into its box immediately!

I lost mine for a day. It was terrifying and I felt awful about it! I was doing the laundry and threw a pile of clothes into a laundry basket and it must’ve slipped off with the clothes. Luckily I found it that night but I definitely spent hours feeling sick about it and tearing apart the house. It was awful but hopefully now that I got it sized smaller it will never happen again!

I lost my ring for 5 minutes and I totally lost it! I started crying and the Mr. came running and found it in like 30 seconds, but I have never felt so panicked in all my life!

I haven’t lost mine…I do a “ring check” every now and then to make sure it & all its stones are still there…lol

This did however happen to a friend of mine…she had taken it off because it was a bit big and put it into her coin purse for “safe keeping”…later she couldn’t find it…then she remembered donating her loose change during mass…a quick phone call to the church got it back…the father said everyone was surprised to have found a ring in the donation basket…funny now, but she freaked out then…

I lost mine a few months ago. I don’t think Fiance fully realizes just how much it means to me and doesn’t know that I still check my hand for it rather often. I’m so sad right now just thinking about it…

Me and my fiance had just gotten engaged and I was in the process of moving out of my apartment because my lease was up and we wanted to get a place together. I hate moving so I waited until the last minute to get all my stuff together. My husband now bought me a wedding set and I kept the wedding ring in the box and my engagement ring in the box when I was around the house. Plus i was cleaning and didn’t want to get any chemicals on my engagement ring. I have another diamond ring I never wear that I got for Christmas last year from my parents. I keep it in a box. I didn’t want to pack either ring away so I put them in my purse. After we got moved and everything I was ready to wear my engagement ring. I look all in my purse and neither ring is in it. I’m freaking out thinking maybe it fell out. I went to all the resturants we’d been to in the past 2 weeks and nobody knew what I was talking about. So my husband had to buy a new set, which we really didn’t have the extra money for, so he was very upset with me. After we get settled we find both sets of rings packed away. I guess I was so tired I didn’t realize I had packed them away. So we took the other set back got our money back and now I’m happiliy married.

I lost mine in June 2006. It was almost 3 ct. Princess cut gi grade diamond on a thin gold band. We we’re on a road trip from Oklahoma City to Hope Arkansas. And it somehow vanished from my purse. My purse wasnt zipped and i had took off my jewlery and dropped in down into the inside pocket. My purse tipped over in the car somewhere along the way and I thought I picked everything up. We made several stops after that. I threw garbage out at a couple stops. So the only thing i can think of is it got threw out or kicked out.  I still get sick every time I think about it!
