    The belt I fell in love with at the bridal salon was $600. I just could not pull the trigger and buy it…I looked on etsy but I was too afraid of not seeing it in person. I ended up making my own. It’s covered in glass beads and crystal elements. I worked on it a few hours at a time here and there over the span of two months or so. It was worth it. It’s so pretty, SO MUCH less expensive, and it’s definitely adding a very personal touch to the dress.

    I think I’ve looked at the shop you’ve mentioned, and the reviews seem pretty good.

    Good luck making your decision!!!

    Her feedback is 99% positive which is really good – but the only thing that would make me iffy about ordering is that she doesn’t allow returns. Try http://www.shopkirstenkuehndesigns.com too – her stuff is returnable if you decide you don’t like it 🙂 I got the Cameron from her & it’s AMAZING!

    @MissWitty:  I ordered the all of the swarovski elements and some of the silver lined Czech glass beads from Fire Mountain Gems, and the tiny Czech glass seed beads from Hobby Lobby. I got some nice ivory ribbon, invisible thread, and super strong glue…I think I spent about $70 total (I bought more than I needed…pearls and some broach elements that I didn’t even end up using). I have some pictures on my phone that I can post tomorrow if you’d like to see how it turned out.

    I ordered from seller diamondweddingveil, the price was really good (about $55 us) and they accept returns if the style doesn’t suit you.

    @MissWitty:  This was stage one:

    And this is the finished product:

    The second picture isn’t great. I thought I had more pictures but I guess not. My dress came in Monday, and I go see it and try it on tomorrow. I’m so nervous the sash color won’t match! But honestly, it took so much time, I don’t even know if I care whether it matches or not, LOL. I’m wearing that sucker!

    @Yellwill Did you receive your belt from DiamondWeddingVeils yet?  I was looking at ordering the Eva B and would be interested in hearing about the quality/sparkle of yours.  Thanks!
