We did. We ordered my Verragio setting from an American store through their website (we are in Canada). We shipped them the loose center moissanite and they set it and sent the finished ring to us. It was from tqdiamonds.com.

I purchased a diamond for my upgraded ering from James Allen. The prices are great – lot cheaper than if you purchased from a bricks and mortar store. The prices are comparable to Blue Nile, Whiteflash and Union Diamond – all reputable online sellers for diamonds & enagement rings. HOWEVER, James Allen display magnified pictures of all their diamonds before you purchase so you know what you’re getting before you buy. They will also send you further information and more detailed analysis on any diamonds you are interested in buying.

I am in Australia ordered my diamond and received it in 5 days! Also, you can chat to a consultant and ask questions about possible purchases 24 hours/day.

My diamond arrived and it is super sparkly and gorgeous. Great specs, GIA certified for a fantastic price. 2 days after it arrived, a Jame

s Allen consultant contacted me to make sure I received my diamond and was satisified with my purchase.

See pics of my diamond set in a ring for a local jeweller. Do not hesitate to buy online, you will save heaps of money! BUT only buy from a reputable seller that has a good return policy (no questions asked, 30 days + return period) with many positive reviews (Guse Google to see independent reviews of online sellers)

Fiance got my ering from sarraf.com and it is exactly as it was described I love it and it was nice because they had such a good selection. We couldn’t find the style that I wanted in any of our local stores.

I have a moissanite and diamond set from moissaniteco.com. The order process was easy, shipping was prompt and everyone that see’s my ring absolutely LOVES it. i was super nervous spending that much $$$ at a website, but it went really well. My only complaint is that you cant actually “talk” to anyone, only online chat and email. The site carries erings , wedding sets, and bands.

This was the stock photo

And this is what I recevied. I ordered a 1.1c cushion stone instead of the pictured 1.5c round.

We ordered and designed our wedding bands from greenlakes in Seattle. Great customer service, awesome designer to work with online (or phone), every step in pictures and conversation comfortably on you own “design” page there. needed a resize and worked out great, fast and without extra charges.

Great prize and work for custom design or directly from their page.

I got my bridal set from greenkarat – couldn’t say enough good things about them. They are totally fantastic, and so eco-friendly ๐Ÿ™‚

Also got FI’s on ebay, if that counts…

@Bebealways:  SO is getting my ring from Gemvara.com as well. I ordered a ring sizer from them and the customer service has been great, so I can’t imagine any problems getting the ring.

My husband purchased my engagement ring and wedding band online.  I love the rings, but my engagement ring has to be sent back to have the main stone (a sapphire) switched because I found a big inclusion in it.  I’m also not really happy with how dark the stone is, especially when I’ve seen other bees with the exact same ring and yet the color of their sapphires are much lighter than mine is.  There are no rings like this available locally so buying it locally wasn’t an option for us (unless I had it custom made which tends to cost a mint) but buying online is something of a gamble because you don’t get to see the product before you receive it.  Even if you like what you see in the stock photo, the ring might still be different than the stock photo (as it was in my case).  I really wish that my sapphire looked more like the stock photo but unfortunately it doesn’t.  Just to show you what I mean, here’s the stock photo:

And here’s my actual ring:
