We purchased both online: my engagement ring from moissaniteco, and my wedding band from Kristin Coffin! While I’m not “allowed” to wear the wedding band yet (wedding is in December), it exceeds my expectations. She has a terrific reputation so I was not nervous about the quality, I was mostly concerned whether it would ‘go well’ with my ring, which was not ‘made’ for hers (or the other way around). I took the chance based on trying on different chevron styles, measurements, photographs, and instiinct… and a return policy ๐
ETA: No regrets at all, I *love* it/them both!
Good luck ๐
We used eweddingbands.com and the whole experience was amazing! We got two 14kt yellow gold bands and they are so beautiful. Shipping was really fast and they have free engraving. Prices are really good too.
Yes we got mine on overstock, I am very pleased. the picture just doesn’t do it justice. It’s white sapphire and black diamonds.. I love it.
I purchased my husband’s band online from a mom and pops jewelry store in another state! They were cheaper but we did go into a big box store and he found one he liked so I just searched for it online and saved about $300! It was perfect and their customer service was excellent
DH bought my e-ring and wedding band from James Allen, great company to work with, excellent products. No regrets!
I’d recommend James Allen as well. I bought a wedding band that I wear as a right hand ring and a stacking band. Both rings are good quality. I ended up returning the stacking ring because it didn’t quite suit my vision and the return process was very easy.
I bought a carved platinum band from Etsy that is lovely. You definitely have to read the reviews and research the shop a bit on Etsy, but you can find some great pieces at reasonable prices.
My ring also came from James Allen – my Fiance said it was a great expirence working with them. I had to have my ring re-sized and they took care of that for free & did a great job (also it was fairly quick)
I didn’t look in retail stores at all. I knew the type of ring I wanted and when I heard about Brilliant Earth I was dead set on ordering my e ring from there but there were no retail stores around me anyways. Had a great experience and definitely recommend. When it came time to order our bands we went with Blue Nile because it was within budget but I plan to upgrade my band to one that matches from brilliant earth next year. Blue nile was really cheap and has coupons. My husband loves his wedding band and it was only $250
I got mine from Ebay, I’m happy with it. There’s a spacer ring on Etsy I’d really like to have someday too.
My wedding band was purchased through eweddingbands.com. They have excellent prices and customer service. The selection was amazing and they always seem to be running some kind of sale as well. My platinum band easily would have be twice as much at a brick and mortar store.
Thank you all so much for your input!!
I just bought mine and FIs off of amazon. hahaha. It’s supposed to come tomorrow and I’ll let you know if it’s any good ๐ Had decent reviews though, so I am hopeful. Plus the price was too good to pass up…I got a diamond/14K white gold band for about $100 and he wanted a tungsten band which ran around $15! His band was SOOOO much cheaper than buying in stores. We looked at 3 different stores for tungsten rings and they were around $200, which isn’t bad but can’t beat amazon.
