My Fiance and I have conflicting times, so we can’t really get together to do the registry together. And when we do have time together, we either have to work on wedding stuff, or we’re just too tired to go out and register. I don’t know why but I would feel weird going to register just by myself. So would it be ok, if I registered and picked it mainly online? or should I wait for a time where the both of us can go and register that way? Oh and how long does it take to register? The signing up part, I know walking around the store would take forever.

I actually did all my registering online. It was pretty simple and I like the idea that some stores provide customer feedback which can really help during this process.

I did everything for Macys online – we actually went to Target just because we had the time and some items are only available in stores and not online.

I have done a lot of mine online but there are a lot of limitations.
- Stuff that is online is not neccisarily in stores and this can make it hard for guests to buy you stuff. Some people still like to go to the store and buy something.
- Its hard to measure quality online. For example, towels and bedding.
- There is a lot of stuff in stores that may not be online.
But with all those issues, I would maybe suggest starting online and then going to the store to “fill in” any differences and seeing any additional items in person.
