I always vote bigger! My finger is a size 6 and my moissanite is a 7.5mm cushion and I love the size and how it looks on my finger! Can’t wait to see your new ring ๐Ÿ˜Š Here’s a picture because I’m still obsessed!

I am a size 5.5, and have a 6.5mm. We got engaged one month after graduating college. I’ve never thought it looked too big, and I’ve never had to explain to random people that it is a moissanite. I tell friends and family if it comes up, but nobody has ever questioned my ring or acted rude about it.

I think it will be fine. I’m a 71/2 and I prefer a little bit bigger so I can have more coverage. If someone says something tacky, you kick them in the shin and walk away.

So, I have a size 6 finger and this is my stunt ring. It’s a 1.5 center and I definitely feel like it’s too small. My real ering is still in process and it’s a 2ct. It feels like the prefect size, and my finger is smaller than yours.

I’ve heard plenty of people regret not getting the larger stone but almost never complain the stone is too big. I’d err on the side of larger, if I were you.

Also keep in mind that a six prong will make the stone look a bit larger. Keeping in mind everything you’ve said, and the fact that you chose a six-prong setting, I vote 7mm. ๐Ÿ™‚

desertgypsy : I die a little every time I see that amazing ring. I think it’s my favorite on the Bee.

misskatherinegrey :  I highly recommend getting an $8-10 cz ring in the size you think you want and wearing it around for a while. I wanted a 1-1.5 c stone because I am also cursed with big hands, but I got talked into a 2 c moissanite…because “shrinkage.” It’s not a thing. In fact, my stone feels bigger after having worn it for a while. It’s beautiful, but sometimes I feel judged for having such a giant rock. I’m sticking with what I got, but I would go a size smaller if I had it to do all over again.

misskatherinegrey :  I feel like the bigger the better! I have a 10mm stone and my ring is from moissaniteco. Its my perfect size i wouldnt want any bigger or smaller. So go with what you think looks best on your hand! But 7.5 mm is not too flashy don’t worry.

I was having the same debate awhile ago for myself, size 8 and between 1.5 & 1.8 ct equivalent moissy. I didn’t end up ordering anything…yet, but have decided that when I do I’ll be going for the 1.8. I have a 1.25 CZ and wanted a bit bigger after wearing it for a while. I have other smaller carat weight rings but we’ll see what happens in the future ๐Ÿ™‚ goodluck!
