@TinyTina: We did!!! And it was our honeymoon back in June and we stayed in the same room type πŸ™‚

We loved CSS – it was very tropical and beautiful. We really liked breakfast at Pallazina and had dinner there twice and twice at Casanova. Both were great. The Beach Bar was good too – I’m just not a big grill food person so it wasn’t my taste as much πŸ™‚

Snorkeling was a lot of fun (I was terrified but loved it!) And Darling Husband and I chickened out on scuba so no advice there :-.

Tips – bring books to read on the beach – I brought two for the plane ride and read them at the beach instead! That’s probably common knowledge but I’d never been on a relaxing beach vacation before πŸ™‚ You really don’t need a ton of clothes unless you plan on going off-resort. Nice clothes for dinner but I pretty much wore cover-ups and my suit all day.

If you go to Dunn’s River Falls be aware that the tour guides are very pushy for tips as are the vendors in that area. The Falls itself were very cool to see.

The room was great as was the fully stocked mini-bar πŸ™‚ Funny story – I had gotten bubble bath as a gift at one of my showers and we decided to try it out on the jacuzzi tub – yeah, we had bubbles everywhere!

Make sure to try their strawberry daiquiris, pina coladas, and purple rain! (if you’re a frozen drink fan) Darling Husband really liked the Planter’s punch (rum, rum, rum, and some punch πŸ™‚

They do have a message board on their site that includes a lot of what to pack and other tips. It was very helpful for me.

Sorry for the novel – but we really enjoyed it and I’m missing it this first morning that I could see my breath! We are considering going back in June for our anniversary, so maybe we’ll see you there! Have sooo much fun and please PM me if you have any questions πŸ™‚

Couples Resorts are fantastic! You can stay at any of their 4 resorts and have a wonderful time. We usually recommend Tower Isle or Swept Away. But they’re all amazing.

@Bliss Honeymoons: I recommend Tower Isle too… It seems to have more inclusions than the other 4!

We loved our horseback riding tour and CTI, I just would live on the Couples resorts if I could! haha

@TinyTina: We picked the room for the jacuzzi too – aaaaaaaaaaaaand used it once, haha!

And you think you’re thirsty? I know what I’m missing! Lol, I’m sure you’ll have a great time and you just might end up meeting people you know – we actually met a couple from a couple towns over from us and the groom was a cousin of DH’s best man! Such a small world!

We went to Sans Souci for our honeymoon and LOVED it! I spent months and months reviewing all 4 resorts before we chose – I really wanted Swept Away but a deal too good to pass up came out for Sans Souci – and I think you made the right choice! Tower Isle wouldn’t be my first choice for a honeymoon….but it really depends what kind of resort you want. Tower Isle is too “hotel-y” for my taste and although we eventually want to go to all 4 Couples resorts, TI will probably be the last we stay at. You should definitely take advantage and check it out for a day, though!

The Sans Souci grounds are SO romantic. We went for walks every night and its just beautiful. The beach is pretty good – not Negril but still very nice, and the water when we went (in November) was very warm even though the weather was pretty cool/rainy. The water sports are a blast, we loved the food at all of restaurants and had a jamaican patti or jerk chicken from the grill every day for lunch, yum πŸ™‚ We also ordered room service breakfast (which is delish) and ate that on our balcony almost every morning. That spoiled us – we’ll never again go to a resort without a balcony and room service, lol.

We didn’t do Dunns River Falls since it was too rainy but we went into Ocho Rios twice and had fun. Met some great people, and would definitely recommend it for a romantic honeymoon resort. We cant wait to try Swept Away next πŸ™‚

@noopnoop: aww, that was pretty much my favorite part – walking around at night! The hammocks scattered around are just lovely! You feel like you are the only couple there πŸ™‚

We went to TI for our honeymoon in May, so I can’t comment specifically on San Souci.  But, I’d just like to say that if they are similar (which I’m sure they are), you’re going to have a wonderful time!  We picked up some guests from San Souci on one of our excursions and they seemed to be very happy with their pick.  Have fun!
