valencia247 :  No but I am trying the salon process for the first time next week. Have you ever had it done? Did it make a big difference?

I dont think Id want to do it myself. Would be worried to get chemicals in my eyes or something

I absolutely love the results when I have a lash lift done. I maintained it consistently for a year after the first time I had it done (seriously it amazing) and then stopped for a bit because I worried it was damaging my lashes. I waited for it to “wear off” completely and still noticed no damage! Yay! However, I’ve never done it myself and imagine it would be pretty difficult. I was surprised at how difficult it was to find spas that offer it since there’s one in my city but when I started looking into it I found that there aren’t a lot of places that offer it. I still have to say that I’d recommend having the procedure done before deciding if you think you can do it yourself at home. What’s the name of the kit you’re looking at?

I bought a kit on amazon once. Not sure which one but the box was pink. I picked the one that had the best reviews. It was awesome! At first… It worked but legitimately hard to do yourself. Because WHATEVER position your lash is in when you use the solution on it to perm it into a shape? Is the exact position it will be in until it wears off. So you seriously have to place every single lash in the right place/ angle to get good results. I got a lash crossed with another which wasn’t ideal. I used the silicon shapes and did too much of a curl which was annoying when blinking lol. Its a learning process. I also needed a magnifying mirror, a few hours, tweezers, tons of q tips, paper towels, and a needle to separate lashes and move them around. Im acutually thinking of trying it again at home since its Summer and I have a vacation in August where I want to be on the beach with no makeup but have my eyelashes show.

Yeah I tried one. Total waste of money. Lash lifting is really not a DIY activity. I hope you can find somewhere that does them, I get them professionally done and they are so amazing!!!
