I stumbled upon Gwynnie Bee (http://www.gwynniebee.com) the other day and I was wondering if anyone else has tried it out?
Basically, its is like Netflix for your closet! For the price of one nice dress, I can have 10 pieces to use for our engangment pictures coming up.
What do you think ladies? Worth it?

I had a free trial, and never used it. From what I understand, yes, it works a lot like Netflix. Even down to the subscription. If I remember correctly, there’s a limit to how much you can order based on your subscription.
Let us know if you try it. I’m still somewhat intrigued, but not sure that I would get a lot of use out of it.

I was JUST looking at that website like 30 minutes ago! I think I’m gonna try it later this year around the time of my bridal shower and rehearsal dinner. They have a 30 day trial that allows you to get 3 items at a time, then it’s $80/month to have 3 items out at a time (return the item and get a new one and any time!). I’ve seen pleanty of these types of sites for non-plus sizes and was a bit jealous I couldn’t use it. I’m super excited about this!

I’d never heard of it before, but I’m intrigued after perusing it. I like the idea of using it for engagement photos rather than buying a new dress.

My friend uses it regularly and she raves about it. You can sometimes buy items you love after borrowing, at a discount; she even got a dress for free once because one of the dresses she loved was returned with a stain (not from her).

I tried it for one month because it was free. I liked the idea of being able to try out new clothes without spending lots of money to buy them but I found that it took them about a week to get to my home since I am on the West coast and they ship from NY or NJ (can’t remember). Also, it felt a bit like buying a bunch of clothes without trying them on – some fit great, others not so much because there are all different brands. They do the best they can to try and get you the right size (size charts provided, etc) but it didn’t always work out for me. I think it would be great if the turnaround for me was quicker 🙂

So far, they have sent me 3 dresses and no tops. I wish there was a way to list a preference for the order they ship things.

It’s been a few months, has anybody else tried it and had a good or bad experience with it? I’ve started an office job where I need to actually look nice on a daily basis (as opposed to my previous uniformed customer service job) and I’m already getting bored with my wardrobe after a month.

@luluvohn: I’ve been in the exact same boat recently. I decided to do the one month trial of Gwynnie Bee and I LOVE IT. I’ve gotten some awesome compliments on the things I’ve worn already. 🙂
