I did a brief literature search and could not find any scientific evidence supporting Herbal Life. I understand that it is somewhat expensive, so I’d go into it quite cautiously. This is a restrictive diet that works by substituting meals with shakes and vitamins. Some people find success with programs such as these because they prefer having a structure and routine that is predictable. If you absolutely know what you are eating next, you may be less likely to cheat…
I prefer programs that allow you to choose a sustainable meal plan that you can continue well into the future, but some people prefer a plan that will jumpstart them into early weight loss. You know yourself and your needs best.
Hope this helps.

I’ve never tried Herbal life, However I am on something now I would consider a little similar. I’m on the Medifast diet now. It’s a little expensive to start, like $300 but when you consider that you don’t have to buy grocery store food, except for the lean and green meal, its an awesome deal. Not all the food tastes super great but Medifast gives exchanges. I’ve been on it for almost 4 weeks and have lost 10 lbs. They guarantee a loss of 2-5 lbs/week.
The program works like this: You eat every 2-3 hours one of the Medifast meals- equals to 5 medifast meals a day. Then, at some point you eat your 1 lean and green meal which is around 3 servings of vegetables and something proteinish like chicken, shrimp, lean beef, etc.
