I’ve tried it and it’s lovely! It is very sweet, almost like a dessert wine.

Willow90:  Honestly haven’t tried it, but if you end up not liking it, I personally love Cupcake Moscato. It usually runs around $11-$12 a bottle and it is delicious.

Have you considered a wine less sweet than moscato? imo, moscato is WAY too sweet, and sorry not sorry kind of judge people who drink it! it’s like saying you love coffee but only drinking mocha frappachinos but hating an actual cup of coffee. It has SO much sugar in it and is low alcohol content.

I think pinot grigio is the perfect amount of sweet/dry!

cls9q:  I generally agree with you about moscato, but in the original post she did say she wanted one sweet sparking wine and one non-sweet, so I’d assume the moscato will be one of a couple choices.

cls9q:  As the OP mentioned, she will have a non sweet option as well. And if you seriously sit around and judge people for drinking moscato, you probably need a hobby…sorry, not sorry.

Willow90:  Sounds like a good variety!  I’d look for a sparkling that’s labeled as Brut or dry….La Marca Prosecco is a nice one- not too sweet but has good flavor, and it’s very reasonable!

cls9q:  moscato is very trendy and fashionable right now, so I guess you’ve got a lot of people to get judgy on! One of the great things about wine is there’s a style for everyone’s individual preferences, so if people like the sweetness of a moscato or the approachability of Pinot grigo (fantastic little wine for those just starting out in the wine world), everyone can find something they like.

For your non-sweet, I highly recommend a Spanish Cava Brut.  Cristalino is my favorite and the price point is excellent for a wedding!

Moscato (try Cupcake) and Roscato are the best in my book. I hate wine and Pinot Grigio is far to bitter and dry for me. I also only drink frapps, but won’t touch an actual cup of coffee so I am one of those people 🙂

librarygirl85:  I love Cupcake moscato and will definitely try the Roscato! I am the same, I love frapps, but don’t like regular coffee very much (I am a big tea drinker). Different tastes for different people.
