I’m a sucker for ruffles, but it just didn’t work in real life. I tried on the first dress. It was pretty, but I almost wish the ruffles would have laid flatter, if you know what I mean. I felt a little bit like an old English queen because the stood up close to my chin. The first dress also has ruffles on the bottom of the dress, which felt a bit like overkill, if you ask me. I think the impact is better when it’s just around the neckline, like in the second photo.

It is a very beautiful gown, but I have not tried anything like it on. I am too busty to even try to wear something like that. I think for this neckline to work, you would have to have a smaller bust.

Mrs. Snow wore a dress with a very similar neckline. You should check out her recaps.

I tried on a Maggie Dress like this and absolutely loved it! It was stunning.  I am a busty girl and it really didn’t cause any troubles there…I just fell in love with another dress…but i would definately suggest trying one like this on!!

I agree with Noritake22 – the ruffles are good for amplifying a chest that needs a little boost…. I can’t wear ruffles for this reason… too busty. It is a beautfiul dress though!!

Ms. Pain au Chocolat on the blog did last week in one of her dress posts. I think unless you have a very long and slender neck and a long torso, it’s the kind of thing that will just overwhelm you.

I tried on this dress when I went dress shopping. It wasn’t my style, but it was a gorgeous dress.

@caseylynn19: I tried the Mori Lee on the right. The sample dress’s ruffles where a little messed up from so many brides fussing with them. The first pick is the dress with the frill’s at it’s max (no crinoline underneath) and the second pic is two other ways you can wear them. I was about to buy this dress , but found another Morilee I fell in love with. Hope this helps!

Sorry the pics keep turning out huge!

A facebook friend got married in a dress like that, and she looked amazing. It completely fit her personality and it looked great.
