I recently bought this dress in Pink Champagne/Ivory and am looking at jewlery.  I am just trying to get an idea what others are wearing with this.  I was thinking a pair of drop earrings that have a diamond at the top, pearl in the middle and a bigger teardrop diamond at the bottom…(like these)Wedding Jewelry Bridal Earrings Bridesmaid gift Bridesmaid Earrings CZ ear posts with Swarovski Crystal and Pearls drop dangle Earrings

I also wanted to see if anyone bought a belt for their Beryl and if so I’d love to see a pic!  ๐Ÿ™‚

These are gorgeous earrings! Where did you find them?

I am wearing light light blue shoes with the dress so far, the dress arrives in July. I also got the back changed to corset. I am just push up cups sewn in. I think with the corset I wouldnt have to wear any type of spanxs!

This dress is just gorgeous, i havent been able to find anything else like it esp with the sea mist color!

I’ve attached a couple pictures I have of the ivory/pink champagne with the belt. I didn’t get the belt, just gonna pull it all in with the corset back after I lose even more weight. Already lost 10 pounds! ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m not sure of jewelry or shoes yet. I actually have to wear some kind of necklace b/c I have a 3-inch surgical scar right above my bustline which Ineed to cover. Will try to get a simpler necklace though, just enough to cover it. Sorry if my pics are blurry!

PatriciaM:  Hi, what size did you try it on in? I tried it on two days ago in size 8. It fit around my hips, but was large at the top. Yours looks fitted around the chest.

Is it a strict 16 week delivery time?

littlebaby_S:  I tried on an 18W. It should be fitted; there are more pictures at the beginning of this thread of people who tried it on, as well as the model on the David Tutera website. My bridal shop told me it will take 12 weeks. I ordered it around the middle of May. Hope that helps! ๐Ÿ™‚

I just bought this dress a week ago!!! What color did everyone get? I bought ivory bc that’s what the lady suggested now I’m second guessing I should have gotten white?!

sekuczynski:  I think you will be perfectly fine in the ivory, but I have a preference for ivory. They just made ivory available about a month ago. Before that, the dress was only available in ivory/pink champagne, white or ivory/seamist. I got the ivory/pink champagne but really wanted ivory! ๐Ÿ™‚

ljeaston607:  I got the zipper back. I guess ivory is the most popular color wedding dress now so I listen to the lady lol

What color vests will all your men be wearing? I looked up ivory vests for the tuxedos and I personally don’t like the ivory vest? Does anyone agree that the ivory dress looks more white than ivory, but when I look at the ivory vests it’s definitely ivory!!!! I’m so worried

sekuczynski:  Wow, I can’t believe you are asking this. My fiance and I have been going through this over and over and can’t believe how much time we have discussed ivory vs. white vests/tie, and how many google searches I’ve done on the subject. He and the groomsmen are wearing grey tuxes with white shirts, grey vests and plum ties (BM are in plum gowns). They just had their fitting and everything looked good, and Fiance was going to wear a white tie. But then I felt that the white tie blended in too much with the white shirt so it looked like he wasn’t wearing a tie. So we saw online pics of ivory tie which looked nice; and thought that would go well with my ivory/pinkchampagne which is darker than just the ivory (i believe though I haven’t seen this dress in all ivory). Then the tux shop salesgirl thought the tie would look “dirty” and he should wear an ivory shirt also, but I wasn’t loving the look of that which I’d seen online. So we now are at having him wear a grey tux with white shirt and ivory tie and vest, which has looked good in other pictures. It’s so frustrating….then I’m also worried about my flower girl…do I put her in ivory or white????  Aaargh, I don’t know!!!

don’t know why the last pic is so small??

Wow, sorry for the super huge pictures! I think the second tie is more of a dark champagne than ivory.

ljeaston607:  omg I’m glad I’m not alone in this topic. I’ve been googling this ivory/white vest situation all night!! And I also wondered what the flower girls will wear? But the ivory lace on this dress isn’t as “ivory” as the “ivory” vests are if you catch my drift! How did the ivory and white vest/ties compare to your dress? If I knew it’d be a hassle like this I would have just ordered white!!! Ughhhh

sekuczynski:  you are SO not alone!   I think the ivory vests might be too dark for your dress. Do they offer a diamond white vest? That might work better if you really want your groom in a white/ivory vest. I think you would be okay with the flower girls wearing white. My dress has that darker champagne underlay, so I don’t know what I’m going to do at this point for the flower girl. When I tried my dress on at the shop, I stood near the floor to ceiling windows & in the natural light & it really looked closer to a true ivory, so yours will probably be lighter since your underlay is ivory tulle, not the champagne or sea mist. Maybe you could compare the flower girl options to the actual dress you tried and see how it looks and just exchange if you needed something darker, which is what I might do. At my sister’s recent wedding, she had an organza dress in ivory and a flower girl in white and it looked great. Also the ringbearer had grey and white shirt.
