I am in the process of finding a florist for the wedding and stumbled across the AdoredOccassions Etsy shop (https://www.etsy.com/shop/AdoredOccasions). I had always wanted real flowers for my wedding but I fell in love with the one the bouquets and am now considering ordering all of my personal flowers from her. She has 259 5/5 star reviews. It almost seems to good to be true! Has anyone used her before? What was your experience?
Also, for those of you who did fake/silk flowers… did you regret it at all? I know I always imagined real flowers at my wedding, but not only is this cheaper, but then I don’t have to worry about any wilting or anything like that. I’m just afraid I might regret it… I’m not sure why I would… but just a question.

I am planning on doing silk flowers for centerpieces and boutinieres, and real flowers for the boquets.

I don’t know about the Etsy shop, as I am getting price quotes back from florists I am now contemplating fake flowers! I was in Michaels recently and the silk flowers really look awesome, I don’t know if you could tell the difference in photos. And they are just the flowers, they will be beautiful either way and they won’t define your wedding or your marriage! Good luck!

A lot of Etsy sellers have crazy-high reviews. I’ve always wondered how it’s possible. Some pluses of fake flowers: you can actually keep or gift some of them after if you love them. They can handle any crazy transport conditions to your venue. They wont wilt if its very hot or cold that day. On the other hand if you love a particular fake bouquet but want real, bring the photo to a real florist and ask how closely they can replicate it.
