I self tan often and love it! The only one I have found that isnt streaky or orange is sublime bronze gel by loreal. It goes on really well becuase it is a gel. It does leave me a bit stinky but nothing a shower can’t fix. I even use it on my face, just rub into your hairline well 🙂

Your first time (a week or so before pics) I’d do a thin coat to make sure it works well with your skin tone, but i’m sure it’ll work just fine!

I’m a fan of the Malibu Hemp Golden Glow (or something to that effect), it’s cheap and sold at Walmart. Smells nice (I think) and gives me a subtle tan in 3 days or so *I’m SUPER pale*, nothing orangey or streaky.

I would NOT recommend going and getting a mystic done, I looked like an oompa the one and only time I did the lightest spray, and there’s no way I’d risk it that close to e-pics :-/

Before my b-pics, I got the airbrush tan done by a professional at the tanning salon. A little pricier than a lotion but worth it. No risk of streaks or uneven patches.

@meliss: That’s weird…I don’t blame you for not wanting to go back there 🙂 Maybe they used some cheap stuff? I actually had it done two other times and never had that experience. They tell you not to shower for six hours or so, and the bronzer they put on top is supposed to come off in the shower but the actual coloring agent stays. My tans lasted about a week and looked great. They used a cream on my hands and feet against discoloring and apparantly it worked.
