I was wondering the same thing, their prices are great, and they do rounded corners… but will is turn out nicely? Hahah, always such a risk!

We used Catprint, and couldn’t be happier! They even send you a hard-copy sample to approve before they print/ship your whole order. It was very economical, as well.

Attempted to use zazzle for STD’s and it was a disaster. I found many bad wedding related reviews for them after the mistakes. All general reviews had been ok. I found they have the tendency to miss promised by dates and slap logos on everythiwit despite not putting it on previews. Just do a lot of research about smart press first and have them delivered to you, not mailed directly tocensure accuracy.

I’m not familiar with Smartpress, but am using Catprint and they are great.

Does catprint have the various sizes needed for pockfolds? I am having a hard time finding someone to print those (also I would love thermography or foil but seems that is even harder to find)

I placed an order for invitations from SmartPress last Thursday and yesterday (Monday) I got word that they shipped. I’m so excited! That was fast. I can’t wait to see them.

Will post pictures as soon as I get them – which according to UPS will be on Friday.

Oh, as an afterthought – I started looking for a printing company a few months ago, and after getting samples from many companies, I decided on SmartPress because they had the biggest variety of paper options. I chose the Metallic Ice paper in 110#.

I had gotten samples from Wedding Paper Divas and I liked the metallic paper a lot, but their prices were sooooo much more.

Anyways, I had some business cards printed by SmartPress a few weeks ago so I would have some experience with them before I ordered the wedding invites and I was very pleased. Their website is great, very easy to use and this is coming from a person who is super picky and familiar with several other online printing companies. I also like that they don’t “gang run” the job, so your color is likely to come out more accurate. And last but not least, their prices were amazing.

Just got the invites from smartpress… the shimmer paper is really amazing. And I was also impressed at how sharp and crisp the text and artwork came out. Really great quality printing.

Those look great! I am currently ordering with them and I am SOOO nervous!
So far they have been great and contacted me about any questions they had since my file is slightly difficult and is a tri fold.
Glad to see someone’s came out great!

@jymdrw:  Don’t be nervous! One of the things I learned about Smart Press that I really liked is that your file is reviewed by three separate people before it goes to print. If there is a problem with your file, they are going to find it and tell you what needs to be fixed.

I think the only thing that you need to consider is that unless you have your monitor color calibrated, the prints might come back with color that looks a little differnt than what you expect. Probably nothing crazy, but just not dead accurate as to what you saw on your screen.

I have my monitor calibrated and used Pantone swatches to choose the exact color I wanted. Smart Press is a digital printing company (as opposed to offset printing) and I think digital presses don’t do as well with matching Pantone swatches – but with that said, the purple color I used in the design above was 2622 and when I received the printed product – it was just about dead accurate to my swatch.

@LindsayAlexander:  Awesome! I used the EXACT colors for my save the dates… with a different company, but I figure it will be similar!
