Has anyone used stuff from Cards and Pockets for their invites?? I’m thinking of getting my invites and RSVP’s from Wedding Paper Divas, but since they’re pretty plain I was considering putting them in pocket folds from C+P’s and binding them with belly bands and monograms.
If anyone has used them, I’d love to see some pics of your invites!!

@TwoStatesBride: Yes… They’re awesome. Especially the shimmer paper. The mat and all envelopes are from cards and pockets and the actual invites were printed in catprint.

yes! the silver pocketfolds!
they were perfect
Can make them for cheaper, but I didn’t want to put the time in, it’s cents cheaper.

We’re thinking of doing the silver signature pocket folds with violette-patterned belly bands and violette monograms. 🙂 glad you ladies had good experiences!
i don’t know that I’m brave enough to print my own invites, but I don’t mind putting my pre-printed ones in their pocket folds and putting them together. 🙂
My invites are 5×7 and will fit perfectly, but my RSVP’s will have to sit sideways in the pocket. Do you think this will look bad? I’m not terribly picky, I’m just glad they’ll be more than plain flat cards in an envelope.

I ordered samples from them, but (long story) we ended up using cheaper paper. If I’d had my way, we probably would have used Cards and Pockets. Gorgeous quality and color selection.

They were awesome for the opal shimmer paper we used! I got my pocketfolds through paperandmore.com though because it was the only place that had steel grey metallic ones!

@TwoStatesBride: Are you sure the 5×7 will fit? I initially thought the same thing, but the actual measurements for where the main invite will sit in the 5×7 pocketfold are actually smaller. I was originally going to use pocketfolds for a design I liked on Minted, but then I realized I would have to cut each invite down. So, now I’m getting them designed from scratch.
I only bring it up because I was almost all set to order, and THEN i realized the sizing was off.

We did! We had them do all the cutting and printing (using our design), and then we just put them all together.

ya i was going to say like PP that cards n pockets pocketfolds measured too small for my 5×7 flat invitation cards. so i am going with envelopments instead.
oh by the way my 5×7 weddingpaperdivas flat card actually will measure 4.8×6.8 im almost positive, so if urs are “5×7” it might help to know that they MIGHT come in a little bit smaller.

I ordered pocketfolds, envelopes and linen paper from them, and then also a stack of matching colored paper to make my own belly bands. Very happy with their products.

I ordered some envelopes from there and they were very good quality and one of the cheapest options I could find as well. So – great value on envelopes.

I just received my samples from them 2 days ago, and we’ll be ordering from them. However, a 5×7 will NOT fit, the pocketfold itself is 5×7, so the stationary inside needs to be smaller. Everything put together fits inside an A7 envelope perfectly.

Thanks a ton ladies! I already have samples of my Wedding Paper Divas invites and RSVP’s, so I went ahead and ordered a sample of the pocket fold so I can make sure it’s going to fit before I take the plunge. Thanks for all your helpful comments! Thank God for WeddingBee! Haha

Good news, ladies! I got my sample signature pocketfold in the mail yesterday, and my Wedding Paper Divas stuff totally fits! It’s the perfect size, actually. I’m guessing the invite itself is just a few mm smaller than 5×7. I’m so excited!!

@TwoStatesBride: So glad I found this posting. I am ordering from Wedding Paper Divas but think my invitations needed some pizazz… saw other postings about Cards & Pockets and am super happy WPD stuff fits! I also want the silver pocketfold but Rose Quartz belly bands.
