@niftythriftyshopper: Since my wedding isn’t until next March I haven’t used this particular idea. I think it’s a cute idea, but I would only use it as shown on one particular table. I could see it being used either for the cake/dessert table like in the pictures or maybe even for a sweetheart table to distinguish it, but definitely not for all of the tables since I think it could be a little overwhelming.

It would also depend on the color too. I think anything too pink or fussy could be juvenile looking, like a little kid’s birthday party. If it was in a neutral or a less froo-froo color, it would be pretty (e.g. grey, blush, champagne).

Wow those are beautiful! what a great idea for a cake table or a sand table maybe even the head table! i love the idea with the one with the lights under it! i am having a winter wedding so that might be the perfect touch! i like it better than those backdrops with the lights behind the head table. thanks for posting this!
