I haven’t used either.  I wanted to find my vendors on my own, and I had heard bad things about them because you aren’t guaranteed a certain vendor and they can (and do) switch them up until the last minute!

There was a bee whose wedding photos were completely botched by ThePros. I can’t find the link, but she was having an evening outdoor reception in Texas. She posted the photos and they were really terrible. I’d avoid if at all possible.

Iahead originally booked weddingbugstudios for my wedding, but in the end decided to go with a local photographer. Weddingbugstudios was very easy to talk too and ask questions, all my emails and calls were answered promptly and thoroughly. Given that, some of their reviews weren’t stellar and you couldn’t see portfolios of individual photographers work and won’t know who your photographer is until about 2 weeks before the event. I couldn’t deal with that stress. As for the pros, I haven’t read any thing positive about them yet regarding DJ or photographer. Remember these are “bif box” companies- so you won’t be getting the individual attention that self-employed or smaller companies can give you.

We looked at thepros.com for DJs, but they wanted us to put down a $200 deposit before we could even SPEAK to a DJ, so we decided to go a different route.  I would highly recommend NOT using the pros… I’ve heard many horror stories here on the bee.

I used wedding wire, and friend’s recommendations (another Bee recommended her photographer-you can get referrals on the local boards).
