DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM BESTDRESSPRICE.COM!  My fiancée was excited to order her wedding dress through BestDressPrice.com, so we first ordered some color-swatches for color selection.  Their advertised shipping time is 5-8 business days, after 8 business days they stated that they would be sent out the within the next two days.  Ten days later I received an email providing me with an EMS tracking number and stating that they had just been shipped.  The tacking number they had given me was bogus!  After another nine business days, I received another email telling me that they had just been shipped.  So here after more than 25 business days we still have not received something as simple as color-swatches, and are still getting the run-around from BestDressPrice, and they are unwilling to offer any kind of refund.  Ordering anything from them is a HUGE gamble, so DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR HARD EARNED MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY!

I posted this on another thread.. but I’ll post it here too…

I read review after review about bestdressprice.com and decided to go ahead and try it….

I did however request a picture of their replica prior to making my purchase. I saw a post online somewhere that someone else did the same, so I emailed the website and asked, and they sent me front/back pictures of their version of Maggie Sottero Fiorella

My dress arrived today, and I couldn’t be happier!!! The color is perfect, the fit is as close to perfect as I could ask for, and the quality is great! I’m totally pleased with my purchase from bestdressprice.com. I paid for 20 business day shipping at an extra charge, and it arrived 2 weeks sooner than I thought it would.

The only thing I will have done, is to have the pick-ups in the front taken up a bit on each side to make them fuller, but at the same time, it pulls the front up and eliminates the need for the dress to be hemmed. The beadwork is not identical on the strap and the pickups.. however, I didn’t spend $1200 for this dress either.

All in all, I am very very pleased with how this dress turned out. It’s stunning! I just can’t wait to see the look on my future husband’s face when he sees me in it!

I have pictures of me in the original designer as well as my dress from the website if you are interested.

I ordered a dress for my destination wedding from bestdressprice.com. Just got it today. I have been a complete wreck waiting for it! I actually didnt know when i was ordering it That it was coming from china and that it would be a replica of the original. It came 3 weeks early. The packaging is scary the dress was stuffed into a tiny bag and was inside out. But the dress was beautiful! I paid $125 i didnt want to spend alot but i wanted it to appear that i did. The only difference from the original was the beading is alittle different but i like it better. The sizing is off so it will need alterations. But definitly glad i did it this way i saved a ton of money! So it worked out really well for me.

The dress was beautiful and just as pictured. It fit me better than at any bridal shop because it was my actual size and not factoring in the “alterations” which seem to “always” be needed at bridal shops. I have a Casablanca wedding gown for my wedding ceremony and it required quite a few alerations where this one does not (it will be my reception dress)…I don’t even have to where a bra with it because it fits so well!! The greatest part about ordering from Bestdressprice.com is that your dress is made for YOU and not the “bridal store”. Wonderful fabrics, custom sizing, and AWESOME customer service. A+++++++++ Will be ordering again in the future! THANK YOU!!

I wish I could trust these reviews. But seriously, all of these glowing reports from first-time posters? Even if they are legit, it seems pretty clear that these are fake and it makes me less inclined to trust them. Sigh.

In today’s economy it’s so understandable why people turn to these websites.  Here are some guidlines that should help

1.  The site has a phone number, that’s good!  Call it and talk to them ask them a few questions and see how they respond

2.  Send them an email and see how long it takes them to answer back, what do they say in their answer?

Any company that posts pictures of dresses that they didn’t make is doing something that is illegal.  Always buy from a company that shows you the dresses that they have made up front.  That way you can see the quality and be assured of what you are getting.

Best of Luck

Look at Deanna’s post, she got married March 3rd 2009 for gods sake supposedly, so why would she be buying a dress? LOL. Also her post is making it seem like we are the company and she is thanking US. lol

I wouldn’t order anything from any of those wedding dress replica sites.. i did it and i’m $500 out of pocket, pursuing legal proceedings, have a cheaply made, chinese pile of crap in my study and have had to buy another dress.

If you’re on a budget, look for second hand ones on preloved websites and ebay. A much much safer way to go.

Yikes, I wish I signed up for this website before I ordered.  I did order from this website and now I’m nervous.  I didn’t realize they were from overseas until my payment went through – although I had my suspicions.  When you’re on the website is says:  Call Us.. and then the number shows up as American under my Skype account.

I guess I’ll let you know how the dress is when it comes in.
