My dress is still sitting in the closet – uncleaned… which makes me think there MUST be a reason I could wear it.
Has anyone done a wedding dress bar crawl?? or anything else with their dress (aside from a trash the dress shoot).
Would love some reasons to pull it out… I’m thinking I may have to be a bride for Halloween this year 🙂

IMO- just no, definately not.
Wedding day, and pics sometime after are the only acceptable reasons to wear it.

I so want to do a wedding dress bar tour after my wedding… how fun would that be! I hope I get to wear it again a few times I sure paid enough for it- might as well!

I think a wedding dress bar crawl is a pretty amazing idea! I think you should do one (get all your married girlfriends together and do it together) take pictures, post them here, and motivate the rest of us to do the same!

My old roommate and I did a “Always a Bridesmaid” party a few years ago. Everyone wore a wedding dress or bridesmaid dress, we even had a two-tier wedding cake, and then hit the bars after we were sufficiently inebriated.
While only a few guests were married, a good number had been debutantes and had wedding gowns for their deb gowns. I wore a wedding dress that had been abandoned in my apartment by a divorced ex-roommate when she moved out (actually the dress inspired the party *I did ask her permission to use the dress*)! One recently married old-college friend of mine happened to call that night, we invited her on the spot, she threw on her wedding dress and jumped in the car even stopping to pay toll on the Golden Gate Bridge while in her dress!
We had a blast and have some hilarious pictures from that night! Totally recommend it!

There is actually an event called the brides of march in San Francisco. A bunch of people get together in wedding dresses, usually from the thrift store (I would totally wear mine though if I ever go!), and do a bar crawl in the city. I’ve had friends go and they said its a ton of fun.

Not married yet, but I think a wedding dress bar crawl would be hilarious 🙂

I had talked about doing this with my friends, but we never got around to it. Then I got my dress cleaned and boxed up so it would take up less room.
But, I think it would be AWESOME!

You could have an LA WB meet up and wear your dresses. Wearing the dress out to a bar crawl does sound fun!
