Hi fellow November bees, since we’re all in the same general stage of planning, I wanted to hear your stories about when it hit you that you’re actually getting married so soon- or if it hasn’t fully sunk in yet! I though sending out the invites would do it for me, but turns out it was seeing my cousin get married this weekend. As the door opened for her to come down, I looked around at all the people that were there, and realized that would literally be me in a few months- same people and everything. I actually had to take a few deep breaths to calm myself down and remember it wasn’t me yet 🙂 And then at the end of the night her dad came up to me and was like, so, ready for part 2 of this party in November? Surreal. How about you guys? What did it for you?

When I went into the double digits I kind of freaked out a little, but today it really hit home. I’m getting married in 68 days. I walked in the house and said to my brother “holy crap, I’m getting married in 68 days”. He looked at me like I should have known this already.

I just stared listening to songs for my wedding march. I have a string trio and don’t want the traditional wedding march. Listening to different songs and thinking if it is the one is what had it hit me! I have found 2 top choices(vitamin string quartet is great for getting ideas) and they both had me in tears pretty much- it was when it hit me(and this was this morning!)

Its hit me a few times. When I tried on my wedding dress for my mum and auntie when I was still deciding. When we got to double digits. But the biggest one was when I sent the invites! It kinda hit me that its official, people will know there is a wedding and will be coming to celebrate with us! I was shocked that it still hadn’t really hit me because I thought I had experienced that emotion already!

Nope, I have a little bit more than a year and I’ve booked the venue. But I don’t really feel like I’m getting married. :/

I’m getting married in 67 days and it still hasn’t hit me. Lol. I get the “OMG” feeling with certain things. Like last week when my wedding coordinator sent me the timeline of events for approval, I was like “OMG, this is getting real.” It’s a pretty awesome experience.

Seems like once a week now I have my momentary freak out about getting everything done. So many projects and not enough time! I can’t wait though. At least all the important stuff is ready and decorations are just minor. I’m already calling him husband in my head too so I can’t wait to say the big “I do” and make it official

No…it seems like something that is happening to someone else, but is being sucked out of MY bank account lol. I don’t think it will feel real until the actual day gets here.

Lol then I felt nothing…..until today! I mailed out my invites! Obviously I’m super excigetting get married to my best friend but for some reason I starte sweating and my heart was racing! Lol Ialmost couldn’t let go of the box! But they are out so now it’s real!

I get these momentary mini freak-outs. Like when I think about all I still have do. I also get teary-eyed when I listen to the ceremony music. It all seems so real now.
