I dress the same. I was in the middle of a professional internship (I was in a commonwealth office building every day I was at “work”) when I got engaged so I had to maintain the same level of dress which was pretty good for me. Back in the real world (and married), I still wear the same style of jeans and t-shirts as I did before. We like to joke that my ring makes our band uniforms just a teensy bit more fashionable but that’s it.
In all, the ring is a lot dressier than the rest of me, especially the facepaint and shako-ed band me.

I used to volunteer at a camp every summer and so knew a good number of the staff. My first Sunday one summer a new counselor came up to me asked who’s cabin I was in. I kindly informed her that I’ll assisting in her campers’ riding lessons in the morning.
I was in late high school and the camp there was for 8-11 year olds…

Although i have a way to go until they look really nice, for the first time in my life i have stopped nail biting……i just dont want to bite them anymore, because my hands look better with my ring AND longer nails.

maybe I paint my nails more often, but that’s about it.

@Wonderful: I think the only big change is that being engaged made me more incline to do my nails and prevent me from biting my nails (I was a nail biter). I figured that I want my nails look nicely groomed whenever I stare at my engagement ring. 🙂

My Fiance picked a ring that was very me so I did not change my daily style.

I wish I could say it has…my style had actually gone wayy down hill sense I’ve gotten my rings. But thats due to what I am doing on a daily basis and I’ve gotten lazy (shame on me!!) how ever it has effected my severe nail bitting (YAAAAY!) I went from literal numbs to nails I thought I could never had, and I make sure I do keep them well manicured, even if it only lasts a few days!

Honestly? not really.. haha I feel sorta bad for saying that. but it hasnt really changed my sense of style and all that, but I guess its changed my view on how I speak to men- like — ” Hi, theres bling on my finger, so dont talk to me!” ( I never really say that, but when I ” accidently” wave my hands in the air- it shows. haha )

I still dress the same, a mix of sporty, jeans/t-shirts & sneakers, or a range of casual to dressed up for work. I always wear makeup and have my hair done though, so I don’t look too raggled. I used to think when I was waiting that I would look odd with some fancy bling while I was wearing sneakers and t-shirts, but then when I got my ring I realized that it really isn’t the case. 🙂

No. I still wear what I usually do. I do like my nails painted more now! But I don’t do it often. 😛 lol

No way…I wore nice clothes the very first time I went to work with my ring on but then after that I look exactly the same.
Nope, I’m exactly the same as I was before. I work in engineering, so while not business causal, I’m fairly dressed ok – fitted darkish jeans and a sweater or shirt.

The only major change has been that I’m looking for gold accessories now to match my yellow gold ring. Most of my other jewelry is sterling silver, and so one thing that I would love to get is a nice practical gold bracelet.

The only major difference is that I stopped nail biting and have my nails painted all the time now. My office is casual so I stil wear jeans/blouses every day. My normal look is earrings, necklace, watch, e-ring, right hand silver rings, hair done and makeup.

I’ve definitely started dressing differently — went from jeans + a tee shirt to more styled, put together fashion. It’s been easy because I can just layer and it looks good!
Like other posters, I’ve also stopped wearing as much jewelry. I went from 4 rings, a necklace, and 2 bracelets to just my e-ring!
