I had never heard of moissanite prior to WB, and now I’m really regretful that I didn’t tell Fiance to get that for my ring instead haha…

I also have learned I really, really like gemstone engagement rings…particularly champagne/peach sapphires and morganite.  I would never have considered anything other than diamond, but now…let’s just say I wish I had found WB before getting engaged haha!

@Bridey77:  Reading a conversation about polygamy made me a bit more open to the concept, as long as the women are WILLING participants in the situation.

Honestly the only thing it’s changed my opinion on is the fact that people are SO judgemental.

Everyone is different and likes/wants/does different things when it comes to their weddings/lives, but people are so quick to attack them and judge them and call them tacky, cheap, etc.

And usually people do it before doing their research. I can’t believe they don’t realize that a lot of the traditions they dismiss are very culturally important and meaningful.

I also can’t believe the petty things that people obsess over – thigh gaps, the C’s on rings, the size of rings, how much they spend on their BMs, how to address envelopes, how much other guests give a couple as a gift….. like…. there are people in this world without food or a roof over their heads. I can’t believe people are so focused on themselves that they degrade others over “proper etiquette” or something equally unimportant.

Weddingbee has influenced the amount of time I want to wait until we have kids.

Halos!!  Im not a halo fan at all.  While we were shopping I did not like them one bit.  And while they are very popular and usually similar, there are a few that really sing to me.
