I don’t know if I would say it was the same as SYTTD but I brought my mom, Mother-In-Law, and two bridesmaids. I had so much fun and everyone loved the dress – my mom teared up a bit but mostly everyone was just smiling. The consultant was absolutely amazing and really helped to make the experience great! I liked that it was a small shop and the whole experience felt intimate.

@AlishaKay: I have looked at alot of really expensive dresses online, which I know I could never get…LOL But even if I tried them on I would still love my dress more!

Yes. My grandma and my mom went with me. The consultant listened to what I wanted and what they wanted and asked about a budget, then started pulling dresses!
I asked for a-line, corset back, a little bit of beading, a decent sized train, and pickups. The only thing I didn’t get in my dress was pickups, but that’s okay! She helped me into all of the dresses and put me on a pedestal in front of tons of mirrors with my mom and grandma sitting next to me. My grandma cried at every dress, saying how beautiful I was. My mom smiled from ear to ear. The consultant asked me if I liked each dress better than the previous and if I liked it better, she “threw away” the others. She did this to help me decide. It was awesome because instead of having 5 dresses to choose from, I had 2 at the end. I didn’t have to try to remember how each one felt and try to remember which one I liked best.
At the end, she put me in my two favorite back-to-back so I could see them one right after the other. It was an excellent idea and she even “jacked me up” (as they say on SYTTD). I had a wonderful experience with the best consultant. She was very personable and we talked about things outside of buying a dress. Very positive experience and I can’t wait for my dress to come in!
