    Mine is being repaired right now for a stone falling out. Been over 6 weeks now…. So mad. I’ve worn it less than they have had it…

    @Scintillante:  I’ve had my ring for 2.5 years, and it’s never needed any repairs. It’s a cluster with 7 centre stones in a flower shape surrounded by around 30 micro-pave set diamonds, with 5 mico-pave set diamonds on each shoulder. I wear it every day, inc to work where it gets knocked a fair bit, and have never had any issues. I don’t sleep in it, and I take it off for swimming and showering, but only because a) it’s white gold and I have no desire to speed up the whole yellowing process and b) it’s currently way too big and so liable to slip off esp when my fingers are cold and wet!

    Here are a couple of photos:

    I have a halo with a micro pave band so with my center stone a total of 25 diamonds, and I’m shocked I’ve never had to have repairs! With that many I figured I was bound to have loose stones or something by now. But my jeweler was really awesome in creating my ring and making sure they were “caged in” enough without being too delicately set.

    @Scintillante:  Just got it back 2 days ago.  The ring arrived with jagged parts on the shank.  The repair was free since it was a manufacturing defect.

    @Scintillante:  I don’t have the platinum one yet as OH STILL hasn’t given it to me lol, so I’m still wearing my white gold one at the moment. When I do get the platinum one I’ll wear it more as I won’t be worrying about the whole re-dipping issue ๐Ÿ™‚ the

    I haven’t needed any repairs! I take it in to be cleaned and checked every six months (free lifetime cleaning yay!) and I took it in to be resized a few weeks ago. Since it was the first time I took it in to be resized it was free! No problems with it at all! It’s a high set solitaire.

    @Jacqui90:  Every time I see your ring I sigh… It’s beautiful.

    Yes! I just had to do this yesterday! I was (and still may, when I am near my computer) start a thread about this, but I just had my rings appraised and was shocked and concerned to find that I had three lose stones in my seven-stone, half-eternity wedding band, and a loose baguette that was ready to fall out of the channel setting in my e-ring. I just had them repaired, and I had no idea how expensive that can be. However, I really didn’t want to be losing diamonds out of my rings. I had never before been told that I had any loose stones, and I suspect that the culprit could be my thin, anniversary band. I am contemplating no longer stacking it with my e-ring and wedding band and also trying to put some space between my rings to help prevent wear and tear.
