@MuchGreater: I understand where you are coming from, I am not fond of the idea of a woman with her hands all over my fiance. However, it is her job, and strictly that. I would tell him how you feel. Honest communication always works, and even if he still ends up going, at least he will know how you feel.

My Darling Husband gets a massage once in awhile, I guess I don’t see it as sexual at all.

I went for a couples massage last year with Fiance and we both loved it soooo much, he slept right throught it lol. I actually told him to go more often, I don’t see it as sexual at all, whether it’s a man or woman massaging. As long as it reliefs his stress and pain I’m all for it!

I think for him to get a massage is perfectly fine. Guys need to relax as well, especially with all of the craziness we put in their lives with wedding planning lol

@MuchGreater: But if you leave it up to him and he goes and you feel sh*tty you can’t complain because you let him make a decision. Better to talk to him about it.

Well, think of it this way. They may be human, but crossing a line sexually with a client could get you fired. That’s kind of a big deal. So I imagine the impulse to do that with any client (and keep in mind just cause a client is the opposite sex [or same sex if the masseuse is gay] does not mean that the masseuse is going to be attracted to him) is very, very rare.

One of DH’s friends is a masseuse. In his personal life, he is a bit of a player. Even HE acts professional in his job.

As for my Darling Husband, I WISH he would go to the amazing Korean spa we have here. It seriously is life changing. But he won’t….someday….

@MuchGreater: yes, they are still human but I can tell you that most massage therapists do not view their clients any more than just a job to do. One of my good friends is a massage therapist and she says all people, regardless of how hot/fat/hairy/pimply/sexy, are just viewed as anatomical. The whole time they are just thinking about how to work your muscles. Its not a big deal!

Yep, my husband gets massages once in a while.  I never really thought about it being some lady rubbing her hands all over him.  I always assumed they’re kind of like doctors, where it’s just their job.

My Darling Husband Loooooves massages. He’s definitely gotten more than I have in my life. I’ve never had a problem with it.

@MuchGreater: ALso in a couples massage, you don’t see each other naked. You’re covered up past the boobs with a towel, and he’s covered to the waist. Obviously once the masseuse leaves the room, you could sneak a peek, but you certainly don’t have to if you guys are waiting to do that.
