No he knows I will do my best to get a deal and stretch the budget! I am a bit cheap lol. But he does watch those shows with me and he actually gets into them! He will be like “oh thats pretty” or “what a good idea” or “are we going to do something like that?” LOL

Haha yea, mine has had the same reaction to the prices on that show.  He HATES Bridezillas, to the point where he will ask me to turn it off lol.  He’s like, that better not be you.  lol.

LOL yup! I was watching back to back episodes of Bridezilla the other day and after about thirty minutes  of watching it with me, he goes “Babe, I can’t take another minute of this. People actually act like that?!”

My DH hates bridezillas with a passion so bad he’ll leave the room if it’s on, and when passing from the kitchen to the upstairs “man cave” he’ll make snarky comments about the show. But whatever, he watches Judge Judy so he has no room to complain…

My fiance is British Pakistani so he’s completely unfamiliar with the type of wedding I’m familiar with. I guess he’s seen them in movies and stuff but on any type of reality wedding tv show where the full service is shown, he sits there saying “uuuuh…WHAT are they doing that for?” etc lol.

But on the flip side whenever he shows me videos of Asian style weddings I’m pretty much thining the same thing. As we’re having 2 ceremonies – 1 of each style – we need to get used to each others I guess lol.

I will watch Bridezillas from time to time, and my husband always comments on how insane those women are. He also jokes around and tells me the wedding is off if I become that crazy over planning our wedding, he will not go through with it hahaha

I typically watch wedding shows online, with earphones on so he doesn’t need to hear/see them, because he HATES them. The crazy women on that show disgust him.

Also, he is puzzled and weirded out when grooms get super involved and zilla-ish. He usually shakes his head and asks me why I watch these shows. I can never give him an answer, though… there’s just something about them that is so addictive…

hahah Fiance hates SYTTD but  loooooves to make comments on the dresses. its so funny.

“is she SERIOUS?! That dress makes her look fat”

“Thats a good look for her I think”

“Yeah that engagement is over if she goes that far over the budget on her dress”

and my favorite…

“Your dress is gonna be way better than any of these b*tches” haha

We just got cable, and my fiance has been around while I’ve watched a couple episodes of SYTTD.  I asked him to pause it while I was up grabbing a bagel for him, and he said “Holy crap, look at this guy’s MUSTACHE!!!  And he’s her officiant!!!”  The guy had a movie-villian curlicue mustache going on, and it was hilarious, but I think the fact that thats what he seized upon was funnier 🙂

@SoCoBlue: I wish I could remember exactly what it was but it was definitely Bridezillas. I think it was something about having a red carpet to the limo, and the bride was flipping out about her being a princess and she wants it just like William and Kate.

The look of horror on his face was priceless!

@SoCoBlue: Fiance watches all the wedding shows with me. He actually gets right into them. Not so much SYTTD, but Four Weddings he likes trying to guess who is going to win. Somehow, he is right almost every time lol.

Fiance doesn’t mind watching the shows with me, but he thinks the prices are insane. Thankfully we’re on the same page about that, so it doesn’t freak him out too much.

Today I told my Fiance that I tried applying to My Fair Wedding, but that they only wanted people in the LA area and would not be coming out to Buffalo. He was shocked, and was like “you were going to have him come? why?”
