#MeetTheMinters:  Mint to be is a common slogan for wedding mints.

Okay, so I had to be a creep and check insta. They only have one post and you kinda laid your claim on the hashtag (very politely!) so I would just stick with your hashtag. No biggie.

What about #marrymint kind of a play on merriment?

#MeetTheMinters:  maybe add the exact date to the hash tag? That’ll help narrow it down more than just the year! Mine’s #gordillopartyof2 hehe no one has that one yet!

What about #minterstobe or #mintforeachother?

i agree with PPs that “mint to be” is super common for mints given out as favors so I’d hardly call others using it as “stealing” your hashtag.

#MeetTheMinters:  I checked instagram too. I’m assuming those are all your pictures – no one stole your hashtag- your pictures are everywhere.

Also – I am super paranoid.  I personally would not be posting such personal information. Just to give you an idea – I searched your hashtag adn found your and your husband’s instagram account. From there, I saw a picture of your STD. It has your wedding website on it and I went to that. Now I know your full name as well as your husbands full name (again, all because you posted a hashtag on this site). I’m sure I could search you on facebook too or google you, etc.

I’m not trying to be super creepy here but…doesnt that creep you out? Just a thought…there are some crazy people out there.

you could add your first initials, for example #jdminttobe, or add something to the end like #minttobetogether

I don’t think you get to claim hashtags. It will be nice if those other people abide by your claim but there will be others, given MINTS.

#mintforeachother per TheGridMonster:  is cute.

#MeetTheMinters: I did a very quick scroll of Insta and only saw like 2-3 posts other than yours. I think you’re good.
