Anyways, as many of you know I injured my hip. I tore the cartilage in my hip and I have FAI. Im going in today to get an ultrasound directed injection directly into my hip joint. I had the hip injections previously but this is something different I think. Apparently I have to have this and then be scheduled for surgery.
Im terrified and I hate needles.
Just my rant for the day.

I hate drs too 🙁 They give me so much anxiety. I broke my femur had emergency surgery and it was non-stop appointments for a year, then diagnosed with an autoimmune issue, and now dealing with irregular pap, so non-stop prodding and poking all over the place. I get serious anxiety about it, so I try to talk myself down, I remind myself that no one likes going to the doctor for needles, I try to be grateful that my issues are not so bad as other outcomes, and I tell myself that going is necessary for health. I still freak out but I try to calm myself as best I can.
I hope your appointment goes well and that your injection is over swiftly!! I always tell the drs and nurses I’m nervous too, and sometimes you get some real good gems that help calm your nerves.
Upside to surgery is a little bit of forced downtime with all your favourite shows. Thinking of you bee, good luck!
