And you know, I have seen long torso tankini tops as well, I will do some googling and see what I can find!

@Cash000: Honestly, youve started several posts about your body image issues. I think all women have some issue with their body (I know I do!), but it’s not something I  worry about all that much either.

I have a ton too :(. Growing 6 inches, 3 bra sizes and 2 pants sizes in 3 months will do that to a kid. They do fade over time as you know. I got a tattoo over some of mine. I also don’t tan, since stretch marks don’t tan. Have you tried mederma (sp?). I haven’t yet but the reviews are amazing. Honestly though, no one ever will notice them as much as you simply because its your body. Hold your head high. Your body is nothing to be ashamed of. If you want to improve that is ok, but never be ashamed of your body because you are loved the way you are. Give your body time. Mine took years to fade because they were so deep. In the mean time, do things to make yourself feel beautiful and honestly, don’t feel like you need to hide anything. There will always be people who have a negative opinion, but the trick is remembering that the person who sees you naked on a  regular basis loves you and your body.

@Cash000: I hate one pieces for the same reason as your Fiance. I know, I am totally checking some out on that last site, and I found a 10% coupon code – GET10! I really want to buy 1 (or 12) but I am working on getting back into all my bikinis that are collecting dust in my drawer…

@Cash000:Take what your Fiance says and run with it. If he thinks they aren’t sexy enough for you, put something sexy on for him. Might make you feel better to see “the look”

I have stretch marks from my kids and from the usual gaining/loosing weight.  Mine, however, look more artistic than like actual stretch marks.  (No, seriously, they have a pattern to them and look like some tattoos I’ve seen online… I have a really weird body, lol)

However, I’m pretty self-conscious about my ‘pouch’ that I have from two c-sections.  It shrinks, sorta, but I still hate it.  (I actually have a pretty healthy weight, fortunately, and I’ve actually lost weight in my thighs, something I’ve managed to without trying. I’ve also been wanting to do that for years, go figure.)

Instead of covering up my pouch and my stretch marks, I wear my bikini, tanks, short shorts and skirts, and halter tops.  Not to mention the 2nd-skin clothing.

You shouldn’t be ashamed of your body and if you have a healthy diet, exercise, etc. you’ll not only feel better about you’re body, but you’ll feel better period.  It’s not easy and it takes a LOT of discipline.  I had to do it after having my son because I gained weight and I didn’t feel healthy or like how I looked.  And trust me, for someone who loves her chocolate, eating healthy and giving it up isn’t an easy task!!!!
