for my wedding, we had 2 cupcake flavors – salted caramel and toasted coconut. we also had 2 cake pop flavors – lemon and red velvet. for the groom’s cake we have a white chocolate toasted coconut cake and lastly for our cutting, we have the best flavour of them all. for the cutting cake we have lemon cake with white chocolate filling and coconut. it was so delish. i was so sad though that i didn’t get to eat much of the sweets just because we were too busy saying hi to everyone.

Saw someone on here who did nutella – omg that sounded SO GOOD.
Are there any ties you could make to the wedding venue/city/time of year/you guys as a couple? I think it would be kind of cool if you could somehow tie the “unique” flavor into the wedding, like people do with signature cocktails.
For example, I live in St. Louis and gooey butter cake is like huge here and I’ve never really seen it anywhere else, so I may do that as a nod to our city (or the cookie version since that’s my fiance’s all-time favorite).

We had 2 flavors- lemon cake with lemon curd and raspberry jam, and chocolate cake with chocolate and mocha buttercream. One was light and refreshing, the other was a little heavier and savory… I thought it was a good mix and everyone liked it

We had a tier that was almond poppyseed cake. It was so good! We actually had 2 tiers because the top tier that we kept was also poppyseed.

- Wedding: August 2016 - Galleria Marchetti
We had carrott cake with buttercream and then a chococolate cake with milke chocolate buttercream and raspberry filling. They were amazing.
We did try funfetti at another bakery which was fun, but the cake was dry. See what your baker can offer you and go from there 🙂 HAVE FUN

I guess it’s not that out there, but we had vanilla cake, coconut “mounds” filling, and lemon curd. It was to die for. We also had chocolate and raspberry preserves, but the lemon coconut flew off the buffet table and there was none left!

We had 2 tiers, one was almond with raspberry filling (our more traditional flavors) and the other was coconut with a passion fruit filling. I totally expected to be the only one who ate the coconut tier but I was totally wrong! I have half an almond tier left and absolutely none of the coconut! I didn’t even get a piece!

We had green tea/matcha flavor and tiramisu, both were a hit.
For other unique flavor: vanilla/rose + Passionfruit, anything with fresh berry will always be different enough but good in my book.

One of our tiers is banana cake (made with real bananas, think banan bread but soft and fluffy mmm) with bavarian cream filling.
Another tier will be tollhouse chocolate chip cookie dough with chocoalte bavarian cream filling.
Not yet decided on the other!
