Another post I wrote has me second guessing what I’ll do for a wedding band. We can’t afford the one I want and I feel kind of lost. I know I’d like something with interesting detail, but that’s about it. I’m fair game for mixing metal colors, colored gemstones, and the like.
So if you have an interesting wedding band that didn’t cost an arm and a leg I’d really appreciate it if you shared it! The bees are always great for inspiration so I’m hoping this will help.
Please let me know what metal your ring is too.

If you search zales as well as many jewelry stores they sell “stackable ” rings that if you narrow your search for under $100 they havews one cute ones with detail and with stones

You may try Berricle.com – they have sterling silver jewelry excellent customer service, and great prices! I knew I didn’t want an expensive band so I purchased on through them. The jeweler we purchased my engagement ring from had one that was identical to it and they were asking $75 – I paid $40 🙂

http://www.etsy.com/listing/75546255/renaissance-wedding-band-or-stacking $20. I think ths one is really pretty, personally. Her store has lots of really pretty, and reasonably priced rings.
I haven’t decided yet on mine. I’m going between a simple yellow or rose gold band (engagement ring is yellow gold) or a silver fancy band of some sort. I’m in the same boat, budget-wise.

Oooh that’s pretty. Thanks for linking that shop! Even if I don’t buy something for the wedding I might buy something from there in the future.

Here is my band: I bought it on etsy for $25, it’s sterling silver
I bought it here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/blazerarts?ref=ss_profile
PS: Hubbys band came from Amazon.com and cost $15, it’s tungsten.

I think berricle would be a great source for your wedding band.

My entire berricle set was 70 some dollars: (Its sterling silver.)

Definitely berricle! I have these two, and they are so sparkly and so dainty/delicate that they look quite “real!” And they were like $35 each so if they don’t last forever and ever it’s ok.

Try Gemvara.com, they have tons of options and you can get any of their rings in sterling so they’re not so expensive 🙂

I don’t know…don’t be offended but I’ve looked at Gemvara and I’m a little surprised that even their sterling silver rings run a few hundred dollars! But of course if that’s your budget, cool 🙂 I’ve seen slim gold stacking bands for less than that, though. For sure on Etsy there’s some 14k stacking bands for under $100!
And I don’t know if you’re interested in vintage, OP, but I’ve bought some 14k gold vintage jewelry from Etsy before, and I can’t say enough good things about one seller in partiular: http://www.etsy.com/shop/clovercreekbear – just an idea, there’s plenty more where that came from!
