Hello bees! We have a bar package and our colors are purple and gold. Any neat ideas on a signature drink? I’m not big on alcohol, but we have a big family of drinkers who LOVED the signature drink at the last wedding because it was so easy to just grab one off the bar. Classy… but still! Ideas?
Here’s what we have access to in the bar package:
Absolut Vodkas Stoli Vodkas Smirnoff Vodka Beefeaters Gin
Tanqueray Gin Bacardi Rum Captain Morgan Rum Malibu Rum
Jim Beam Wild Turkey Old Granddad Southern Comfort
Canadian Club Jack Daniels Seagrams 7 Seagrams VO
J&B Cutty Sark Dewers Cuervo Tequila
Ameretto di Saronna Baileys Kahlua Sambuca
Guinness Draft Smithwicks Draft Harp Draft Seasonal Draft

I don’t have any great suggestions for you, especially that would tie into your colors. Looking at the package, I immediately spot what most bars pass off for manhattans on the list (using Canadian whisky instead of rye). I love them (though I’m rather picky about getting rye since it has so much more flavor), and they always look classic with the cherry inside. Granted, they will get people drunk fast, so that can be a problem.
If you want to tie in your colors, I’m sure there’s something vodka- or rum-based that could have some purple food coloring added for a splash. Or, if you don’t want to go that route, you could find some kind of gold drink stirrers or something. You could also pick a cocktail that typically has a sugared rim and do purple and gold sugar. You might have to mix it up yourself, but a google search indicates that coloring sugar is pretty easy.

I would go for a gold drink with purple sugar on the rim or purple charms on the glass. Gold would be a lot easier to achieve than purple imo

I just posted this for someone asking about purple drinks the other day, so sorry for hte repetition. We had pomosas (champagne and pomegranate juice) and they were a big hit.

We had pomegranate margaritas as our signature drink. They were very popular! People go crazy for pomegranate anything.
