I love it on you! At your fitting, speak up about the way you want it to fit at your thighs and flare out. If you’re worried about the position of the corset, say something about that, too. It is entirely possible for you to have your dress flow as you imagine. Just don’t be too shy to ask! ๐Ÿ™‚

I don’t think you need to worry – that dress looks amazing on you!

I’ve found model pictures problematic too. The dress never looks the same on them as it does on me. I figure that’s because they’re all 8 feet tall, a size 2, and being made to pose really awkwardly. As I’m only 5’6″ and wiggle from anything from a size 10 to a size 14 because of my hips and boobs, then I’ve tried to stop looking at model pictures so much!

It looks great! Honestly, don’t worry, it can always be altered to the way you want it.

I deleted all the pics of me in other dresses from my phone so I don’t second-guess my decision, and I haven’t looked at the model pics except once, because it looks completely different on the model. Once your dress comes in I bet you will fall in love with it all over again.

@redbootz:  Beautiful dress! I had the same issue. When I tried on the sample, it was too big, so they had to clamp me in, and it was fitted in all the right places. When the actual dress came in, it was more of a slim A-line than the mermaidish look I’d thought I was going to get…but I was still in love with my dress (the lace, the train…). The seamstress then told me that she’ll take it in so that it’s more fitted around the butt and thighs, so you’ll be ok! Also, once you actually try the dress on, you’ll fall right back in love with it again. Everytime I look at phone pictures of me in my dress, I have a little bit of doubt, but when I put that dress on, I’m in love….;)

Only YOU can answer that question.  YOU need to look at yourself in it and say this is the one!
